Work Experience

Hotel and Restaurant Management students

Cooperative Education (co-op) is a college work internship program that gives students college credit for supervised work experience. These internships, whether paid or unpaid, help students master skills related to their majors and future careers.

If you are interested in learning more about this program, please see your program advisor or the cooperative education coordinator.

Application Process

(New Guidelines for 2008-09)

Complete the Cooperative Education Application.

Culinary and Hotel-Restaurant Management students should fill out the CUL/HRM application.

Submit your application to your faculty coordinator. (See the list of coordinators below.)

Your faculty coordinator will submit your information to Robin Hardin, Cooperative Education Coordinator, who will then send you or your instructor an e-mail confirming that you are set to register for co-op through your advisor or Web Advisor. You will not be able to register until this process has been completed.
