Test Results/GED Transcripts
Students may request that their placement test scores for tests taken at Cape Fear Community College be sent to other colleges/agencies by completing the Permission for Release. The form must be printed and mailed or faxed to:

Students needing a copy of their GED Transcript must visit the GED web site in Raleigh, NC.
Request Form for GED Transcript
Students wanting to enroll at CFCC and who took their GED tests in North Carolina may request that their scores be sent to the CFCC Admissions Office by using this Request Form.
All Release Forms received will be processed within twenty-four (24) hours upon receipt of your request. A longer period of time may be necessary at the end of a semester and during registration times.

- (1) How do I request test results transcripts?
- Requests for test results transcripts at this time cannot be processed by telephone or e-mail. We're required by federal law to have a written release form from the student. It can be in the form of a letter with your signature or a signed Permission for Release form which can then be mailed or faxed to:

- No. There is no charge for sending test results or GED Transcripts.
top - (3) Can you send my test results immediately?
- All Release Forms received will be processed within twenty-four (24) hours upon receipt of your request. A longer period of time may be necessary at the end of a semester and during registration times.
top - (4) Can you e-mail or fax my test results?
- No. Test results are sent by First Class Mail through the U.S. Postal System.
The only exception is if your GED Transcript is being sent to Cape Fear Community
College's Admissions Office and CFCC can access your NC transcript. Certain
users of test results, such as college admissions offices, require that they
be mailed directly to them, and refuse hand-carried copies. We do not fax
test results.
