How to Enroll in Distance Learning Classes

1. Apply to CFCC:

2. Meet all course prerequisites/corequisites and register for courses:

Local Students - Registration Dates
(New Hanover, Brunswick or Pender Counties):

Spring 2009 :

  • PRE Registration: October 27 – November 24, Web Registration
    (Currently enrolled Voc/Tech students only)  
  • PRE Registration: November 3 – November 24 , Web Registration
    (Currently enrolled Arts/Sciences students only)
  • Registration: Monday, January 5, 2009  
  • Downtown Advising Center (A-314) open 1-6pm
  • North Campus Advising (NA-108C) open 1-6pm
  • First Day of Classes: Tuesday, January 6 , 2009
  • Last Day of Classes: Wednesday, May 6 , 2009
  • Tuition must be paid on the day of registration.

Mini Fall 2008 :

  • PRE Registration: October 6 - October 13, 2008 (Current Students Only)  
  • Registration: Monday, October 13, 2008   
  • Downtown Advising Center (A-314) open 1-6pm
  • North Campus Advising (NA-108C) open 1-6pm
  • First Day of Classes: Tuesday, October 14, 2008
  • Last Day of Classes: Saturday, December 13, 2008
  • Tuition must be paid on the day of registration.

Fall 2008 :

  • PRE Registration: April 7 - July 24, 2008 (Current Students Only)  
  • Registration: Wednesday, August 13, 2008   
  • Downtown Advising Center (A-314) open 1-6pm
  • North Campus Advising (NA-108C) open 1-6pm
  • First Day of Classes: Friday, August 15, 2008
  • Last Day of Classes: Saturday, December 13, 2008
  • Tuition must be paid on the day of registration.

Non-Local Students - Registration Dates

(Outside New Hanover, Brunswick or Pender Counties):

  • NON-LOCAL ONLY: Email Ms. Sue Shoe, Records Technician at dlreg@cfcc.edu   

* Withdrawal: If you wish to drop/withdraw from a course during the drop/withdrawal period, you can withdraw by sending an email to your instructor.

3. Methods of Payment:

Cash; check or money order; credit card (Visa or MasterCard - in person or by phone); or financial assistance. Deadline for payment is the same day as registration for classes. Payment may be made at the following address:

4. Login:

 Hybrid / Internet Classes - First day to login :Students may login to their online course sites by going to http://online.cfcc.edu

 Hybrid / Internet Classes - Last day to login : You must login and/or attend your class (Hybrid classes) by this date or you may be considered nonparticipating in your course.

Spring 2009:

  • First Day to Login: January 6 , 2009

  • Last Day to Login: January 15 , 2009

Mini Fall 2008:

  • First Day to Login: October 14, 2008

  • Last Day to Login: October 17, 2008

Fall 2008:
