Types of Distance Learning classes offered at CFCC:

Hybrid Classes (Sections DY1, NY1): Same requirements for computer use as Internet courses, however, students will also be required to meet on-campus at designated times throughout the semester. See times noted in the DL Schedule of Classes.

Internet Classes (Sections IN1, IN2, IN3): Students must have regular access to a computer and the internet; have good computer skills; work independently; and be self-motivated. Internet courses have a text; have a schedule for completing online assignments; and require a minimum of 2 - 4 hours of independent study per course credit hour. Generally students are NOT required to come to campus, however, some Internet courses may require proctored tests/presentations or labs to complete the course.  Please check the DL Schedule of Classes for specific requirements for your courses.
